Does anyone have experience with Down Home Property Management? We are closing on a new CYV in Collier early January and need a property manager for an undetermined period of time. Any references to other property managers appreciated. Thanks

Are you looking for someone to rent your property for you or to watch your home while it is empty and/or being rented for you? A property manager takes care of finding renters, negotiating rent, etc. and must have a real estate license (or be grandfathered in). A home watch person checks your home weekly, oversees any renovations/repairs you have, takes care of problems, etc.

We rented from them just recently. We needed a place to stay until our settlement so we did a rental for a month. In our case they were very nice to deal with. There was a problem with the wi fi and they came to fix it promptly. We got our security deposit back in a very timely manner. No problems.
