Default Recommendations to Replace Countertops

I would like to replace my kitchen and bath countertops. Can someone give recommendations?

Try P&L kitchen and bath. They are located near Bailey Plaza.

If you are looking at granite I would also look at the kitchen tops that do not need sealing every 5 years. Granite for baths is ok.

Granite is heat resistant and if you get a 15 year sealer put on at install, you are good for a long time. Quartz is NOT heat resistant but doesn't need sealed. It will depend on the look you are trying to achieve. Granite is going to be natural with movement and variations. Quartz since it is man made is going to be a consistent pattern and more expensive. Beware of inexpensive Quartz as made n China with no warranty. I like Granite in the Kitchen and Quartz for baths. I would also purchase higher quality sinks and faucets from the place you are getting your tops. The faucets and sinks at the big box store are a lower quality and won't last as long. My suggestion would be to go to a place like Stonerise in Wildwood that can show you all your options and do the complete project. Make sure you compare apples to apples.

Is there a good sealer for granite after it has been installed?
