1. There is a guy at the flea market who sharpens knives. Don't go there. Poor quality work and the guy's a grouch.

2. An outfit called Wusthof makes a really good knife sharpener. I'm sure you can buy one on-line.

(time out while I google this)

I'm back, Amazon has lots of them. You can also google "knife sharpeners review" for tons of info.

I've been sharpening my expensive knives with the Wusthof sharpener for years. No need to have them sharpened by anyone else.

Or ask your haircutter when the knife sharpener guy is going to be sharpening scissors. You can usually arrange to have yours done when he's around.
