I would like to have driveway coating removed and put back to just plain concrete. Any sugestions?

The only way would be to grind the surface down quite a bit. It's probably a stain that penetrates. It could be epoxy which requires mechanical removal also. Either way, you probably won't be happy with the results.

Just had a rep from Aristi Crete here and asked him that question….he said it needs to be ground down…paint will not work as it will lift off…..they do this work..we talked to Joel 352-702-5990…good luck

I think it would be next to impossible to get a good result. If you ground it off you could see it was ground off. If you painted it, it would need new paint and....
How big is your driveway? Maybe the best solution would be to break it out and then replace it with new concrete.

I'm very curious to know why. It makes me recall a conversation with my late cousin about 40 years ago as we sat on his front porch watching the guy across the street painting his front walk. He told me that the guy will regret what he's doing because once you paint concrete you'll have to do it forever. Of course paints and now stains have greatly improved. I'm curious because I was considering having my driveway done and wondered about having to pay forever to have it sealed.
