Default Replacing 6 ft slider

I need the name of someone to replace a 6 ft slider in a courtyard villa with as large a slider as possible. I have only found one such post, but I have lost that.

Thank you for any help. I try searching, but after a while I give up after finding not much help.

Am closing on the villa next week and replacing that window is my #1 priority.

OP, are you asking to replace the sliders with something else, or are you asking to have LARGER sliders installed where the existing sliders are located, I think there is some misunderstanding. Making the hole larger is a much bigger project requiring new header (or lintel beam) probably moving the wiring, permits, ARC approvals, and a LOT of dust and noise.
T&D is the normal go to company for this type of work, but they will usually have a long wait time, I have seen several other recommendations on this site, but do not recall the companies.

Yes, I want to enlarge opening to at least 10ft. I can manage the mess, but need to find someone to do the work.

In the past, I have found a couple of posts where people have done this, but one I can find now does not mention the contractor and so far hasn’t answered my private message.

I will call T&D. They have done work for me before. But hope to find someone to do it sooner.

Thanks!

From an October thread I found this reply

Their bid was a little lower than T&Ds and they did not have a long waiting list (unlike T&D). You are likely looking at 10K+ or so depending on how big the total project is (patio? Birdcage? etc).
Here is a post I made a couple of weeks ago, they are all positive reviews for Harbortown Homes.

Definitely was worth it. Provided a wall to hang a large flat screen in the lanai and the master bedroom looks a lot better. The builder has stopped putting sliders in the master to the lanai in new gardenia builds.
