Default Request for Assistance - Kitchen Cabinet Reconfiguration

I bought a home that has a drop in oven. I have difficulty bending and need to have a wall oven with separate cooktop installed. I have a Boxwood model home so the space is available but it will change the cabinet configuration. Unfortunately, I called The Villages and was told the color of the cabinets in my kitchen which are maple toffee with mocha glaze has been discontinued. Hillcrest also does not have any more wall oven cabinets in that particular color. To redo all the kitchen cabinets is too expensive. Fine Woodworks is a company owned by Robert S. Ives and he told me he can order a wall oven unstained maple cabinet and a couple other cabinets from Hillcrest and then stain them to match and reconfigure the wall of cabinets so that it looks balanced. Before having work done I always check Talk of the Villages. There are only two posts on Talk of the Villages regarding Bob Ives and Fine Woodworks. One post says he doesn't finish work - that was in 2013 and the other post says he does a good job and finishes all his job. The poster that said this company does finish has only one post and it was in 2013 and the account was begun August 2013. That poster never posted again so it appears that poster only joined to address the negative post.

My question is: Has anyone used Bob S. Ives from Weirsdale who owns Fine Woodworks for cabinet work? If so were you pleased with the quality and did he finish the project on time? The project is going to cost more than four thousand dollars and I am concerned because there isn't much on the board about this company. His card does not have an address as he told me he works out a barn that is on the property where he lives.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

I have a countertop convection oven and find it does all I need for 2 people or more. A muffin pan, or 2 loaf pans fit perfectly. I love it.

Mine is a Cuisinart French door, bought at Bed Bath & Beyond with coupon. I bake everything from bread, cakes, cookies and dinner. Obviously much more efficient than an oven, also doesn't heat the house up like having the oven on.

suggest that you ask Bob for a few current references...not hard to do

if he won't do that, that would be a huge red flag for me

It's always better to go direct
