Has anyone had countertops replaced with READY-MADE Formica counters sold by home depot/Lowes and who installed them (these stores do not install these resdy-made countertops). Or, has anyone refinished the countertops themselves to took like granite

At my home up North we installed the Home Depot Hi res laminate countertops. We love them. Cost like $1200 and granite would have been like $6000. Always remember, in 10 years, granite will be out of style and look dated (everything does eventually).....It is a lot of money!

Thank you packer fan. I aso like the home depot/Lowes ready-mades but finding a reasonably priced installer/handyman is the problem - may get something positive thru this forum
