Default Garage screen door - advice needed

Grateful for your advice if you have a garage screen door:

1) what type did you choose (side-to-side or up-and over)?

2) who did you buy from?

3) how much did they charge, installed?

Thank you

Our neighbor has one that slides side to side. Every time he leaves and every time he comes home he has to get out of his car and slide the screen over so he can come in. Seems like there has to be a better way.

We chose a retractable screen door, it opens and closes just like a regular garage door, including using a remote controller. It was purchased from and installed by Thumper's Retractable Screen Doors Very happy with their product, installation and service.

Just returned from Lake Sumter Square where the vendors were touting their wares. Ended up purchasing from Michelle's Hideaway. A little different, it has a hand pull that pulls the screen down and there is a door in it so you can go in and out. It was mch lighter than I expected and I had no problem pulling it down. The tracks are outside the garage door tracks. Hope it will work as well as it looks.

LOL. How long did it take you to get someone to take your order? It was insane.

I arrived late the installer spent at least 30 minutes with me. They threw in the heavy screen for buying at the show. $200 add on.

Is that why he was late to pick up the check at our house? Yes the upgrade was a $200 credit if you bought at the show. Worked for me!

May I ask how much this one cost (before any credit)?

Thank you

On a two car (less for a one car) it was $1300 I think. $1100 with the credit.

We too chose a retractable screen door, it opens and closes just like a regular garage door, including using a remote controller. It was purchased from and installed by Thumper's Retractable Screen Doors. We couldn't be happier with this product. All automatic. You never have to leave your car. Very happy with their product, installation and service.

I like the door from Thumpers. How much does that door system cost with the remote?
