Hello TalkoftheVillages Friends! Casandra with Pike's Electric checking in on this beautiful day. The temperature and air is feeling great this week and so grateful that we are all safe and sound here at Pike's Electric after Hurricane Milton.
Our staff and their families/homes are all OK and we are so grateful.
I hope every TOTV Member here is also doing well after the hurricane has passed.

One of the most common calls we have received since we have reopened after the storm is damages to the exterior lighting fixtures (post head, post light, coach lights on garage).
I have already helped about 15-20 customers within the last week getting replacement glass, replacement fixtures, even replacement lighting packages after the storm damage.

A few things to consider:
These lighting fixtures can become brittle and go through the harsh Florida sun and weather conditions over the years. The wind gusts we experienced from Hurricane Milton, it is no surprise most people had their post lights fall over/blown away and apart.

These lighting packages also change by the manufacturers over the years. They can become discontinued, thus no parts for replacement glass are available or if a fixture breaks you may be faced with changing all of the lighting to match.

I would love to help any of you who may be considering changing the lighting packages to new. Honestly, this time of the year is the best time for it!
