Default Sam's Club?

I did not want to hijack another discussion (Sweetbay) and I read on that discussion that a new Sam's Club is coming to TV. Please reply and let me know where it is to be located. Thanks.

Just South of Spanish Springs, near the intersection of 441 and Rolling Acres Road. Right next to the Home Depot on 441. Last I heard, it is scheduled to open on/about Jan 22, 2009.

Once more, thank you V07. Cool! Do you think they'll hire any part-time Villagers?

Hijacking your own thread, eh? ;D

I don't see why they wouldn't hire Villagers, PT or FT.

I have heard that Wal-Mart sometimes hires snowbirds who can work part-time in FL and part-time elsewhere. I heard Home Depot did that too. Not sure though. Good for benefits for those who need them (assuming you work enough hours)

SteveFromNY,

You're right ... it seems I DID hijack my own thread; funny! Sometimes I think I would like to work part time and then other times I hope to be too busy to work at all. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things progress once I'm there.

I'm with you. As a (in a few months) snowbird who will need to provide my own health insurance, the idea of working PT in a job that has benefits and the flexibility to work either up North or in TV is kind of comforting...but the thought of having to work sort of defeats the concept of retiring! I too will see what happens.

Great news for Sam's Club. Do they have Costco or BJ's? Costco (NJ) sells gas less than on the open market. Does Sam do the same?
Finally, one important question: do they sell fresh fish? Phillips lump crab meat?
Thank you TV'ers.
