Go to Accu-Tech....its a little north on 301. Maybe a half mile from
the turn off 466.
The mechanice is very fair. He was recommended before on this board
and I used him and was very satisfied.

My opinion has not changed. I go to the place in this post at least once a year. Never an upsell, never a question about ethics from my experiences and the issue is always fixed.

I cannot tell you where to go,but I can tell you where not to go. Ford of Ocala. They have a branch in Bellview. Beware of them. Very bad experience with them.

And I think it was Michael's auto repair that referred me to Accu-Tech
when they did not perform the service I needed.

I have used Michael's auto repair in Fruitland Park. 307 N Villa Ave, Fruitland Park, FL 34731 (352) 365-2955 . He is honest and usually can give same day service. Stop in and talk to Michael and you will see he is very fair with his price, and does quality work. (Did my rear brake shoes and turned rear rotors $110) I have also beeen in for lights on the dash and he pluged in his machine and got the code (vacuum problem) reset it and told me if it happens again to come back no charge. Did not happen again. Also search this site for reliable mechanic.

A terrible place for car repairs, owned by a very honest and reliable man is:

Lady Lake Quality Tire & Repair owned by Vaughn 753.8462.

Vaughn's place is located on 466 just before reaching 441. It doesn't look like much, but it is an excellent repair shop.

You will always meet other satisfied Villages as you wait to speak with Vaughn.

Based on the reviews on TOTV, I went to Accu-Tech last week to get the AC recharged in my Miata and I was very pleased with their service. No up-sell and the final price was as quoted.

I am bringing our other car their today for some work. It's good to know that there is a local place where we can receive honest service.

Default Car repair

I have used Tri-county automotive on 27/441 across from Denny's near the intersection where one turns to go to Lowes. I have been satisfied with their work and prices.

We have had excellent service from Jason Acurso. He is behind Bargains and Treasures off 301 in one of the sheds in the strip. I believe it is called Acurso Repair.
