We are going to rent for a month or so in TV, and most places we see are furnished, so we are going to store our household.

I can tell you that Extra Space Storage on Hwy 466 is air conditioned, 3 floors and if you look at other reviews for storage - are very fair, economical and friendly. They are online at www.extraspace.com or 1-888-storage.

They can handle any sized moving truck at their facility which is a little difficult to find. Go to Hwy 466 heading East toward 441/27 - cross over Rolling Acres Road and they are two blocks down on 466 on the right. Let them know you saw the coupon in the coupon book for two months free and a free lock!!

You end up paying a total of $38.00 for two months for any size storage unit from 5x5 to 10x30!! If you leave at the two months, you don't owe another penny. According to the coupon, the offer ends 8/30/11.

Ask for Randal or Terry and let them know how you found them. They like to track where they get their customers.

Three months ago we needed a self storage facility near TV. Checked out about three places they were all typical. By typical I mean what we always saw up norht. A row on one story metal buildings on a concrete pad surrounded by a chain link fence. Well wife made it clear, our mattresses, box springs and sofas etc might as well be tossed before she wd let them in our new house. We asked around and found a relatively new, three story concrete air controlled buiding two miles from the villages. So...lets see, they offered me first two months free on a 10 by 20 ft first floor air conditioned unit and unlimited use of their four wheel dollies. hmmm, free stuff and a happy wife, worked for me.
Came down last week to close on our new house in the best village (thanks Z). So two and a half months storage... first two months free (not sure what the offer is now) and a couple of fifty dollar credit referalls and I am out of their extreamely clean facility for under 150 bucks. Seemed like an awful lot of national moving companies where there too.
As some of you may know, I hv posted both positive and realistic (i choose to not say negative) messages here. So to my total surprise, I come back to The Villages and this great site and now see Extra Space Storage is now an advertiser. So GG, here I am, sans pom poms, a cheerleader

I just found out that Extra Space is running an additional special besides their ad here - they are doing the one month free, two free medium boxes and NO sign up fee until September 21st....Can't beat that with a STICK! They also offer insurance at $9.00 per month for coverage - pretty cheap if you ask me.......

Honestly, could absolutely care less. If you do not care about your belongings, then yes go anywhere. However, if you do care about your belongings and savings lots of $$$$ then seriously check out"Extra Space" on 466 east of rolling acres. I probably will not need them for a couple of years at best. So I could care less but if you care about your stuff then check it out yourself.
