Default Love our Coolaroos!

For those who are looking for shades for their patio/lanai, we purchased Coolaroo shades from lowes and they are hung on our lanai to help with the afternoon sun. We are very pleased with them. They allow you to see out but keeps others from seeing in. Nice privacy. They look nice too!

We had Coolaroos at our previous house, before moving to TV, and we loved them. Also got lots of compliments on the look. For those who may not know, you can order them in any size and a variety of shapes and colors, direct from Coolaroo, if the ones at Lowe's don't fit your needs.

We also love our cooleroos. Just bought them a few months back and they are really nice. Fit our villa almost perfectly since they come in 3 sizes. We use the stretchy tie-downs to keep them from flopping in the wind and have had no problem at all. Check them out!

Default Coolaroos do their job

Gracie, they do keep the sun out entirely. It's kinda like pulling down a regular shade inside the house. We can see through it but not like you can a screen....it's more dense. We pull It down in the afternoon when the sun is at it's hottest and it helps to keep the inside of the house cooler too because it blocks the sun from peering into the sliders. It does block the breeze somewhat though so we keep our ceiling fans on on the lanai for circulation.
