Default contractors?

Looking to expand the Lanai, will need slab extension, surfacing and screen addition. Anyone have a contractor in mind for this kind of job? I would prefer an "all in one" guy who can do all aspects of the job. Secondarily, I could use a reliable electrician who has a better pricing structure than Price Electric, which is fair, but steep.

I had my lanai enclosed......and other work in my house....including electrical. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian Freitag of B & J Builders. He is trustworthy, a good family man and does wonderful quality work. He formerly worked for TV and I did call TV and they gave him an excellent recommendation. His phone number is: 352-516-0668

The Home Warranty department has a list of approved contractors.

Default Actual recommendations?

I am in the process of combining two households..The significant other has voiced concerns about the size of the current property..I love the neighbors and location so I'd like to consider adding on. This would be at least a garage expansion, inside laundry, and maybe even an additonal great room..Does anyone have experience with a large scale reno and if so can they pls recommend a good contractor, or not? I hope it is from actual experience..Thanks for your help...Rick

We used Kilcrease Construction to add a concrete pad, birdcage and to put screens on our garage. They were very professional, priced right and did not ask for payment until we were completely satisfied. We had three quotes and all of the companies were recommendations from past threads on this site.

Default KB Construction Contractors Has anyone used them

I got a quote from KB Construction Contractors to enclosed my lanai with glass. Has anyone used them? Good or bad. If needed send me a personal message or respond here. They are sponsors on this site and seem to be very nice and qualified people. Anyone else I should contact? Thanks

Another vote for Brian freitag.....a small business, great gut and more so honest. If he can or cannot do something he will tell you. We had our lanai glass enclosed, new hexagonal room built off the master bedroom and former lanai, plus he put in a built in entertainment center in our family room
