Default Who can Replace Pine Straw with River Rock?

I'd like to have someone come out and replace my pine straw with River Rocks. I started to do the back myself, but I just don't want to.

I don't want any landscaping or design, just bring the stone, put down a weed barrier and fill it up with river rocks.

Such a small job, not sure if a landscaper would call me back.

My neighbor had this done without doing any landscaping. She googled river rock companies. If you want to know who she used, let me know and I'll PM her.

It's nice when our neighbors keep their yards and homes so beautiful. I just love to drive around in the golf cart and look at all the gorgeous homes.

My neighbor says she used KGL Landscaper Belleview. She thinks! She'll be back in TV in a week and will check her receipts. Let me know if you haven't found someone by then.

Default Wood Mulch is Better Than Rocks

Please rethink your decision to replace your pine straw with river rocks.

Why not think about some type of wood mulch?
Mulch comes in many types, shapes, colors and sizes and as it slowly breaks down,
adds nutrients to and amends the soil.
The rocks add nothing to the soil and could even be detrimental.
In the hot sun, they bake many plants and shrubs and do not keep the soil from drying out.

Just something to think about . . .

Make sure your deed restrictions allow you to install rock...

Honestly, I'd be pretty happy if all my plants died. I'm a minimalist in terms of upkeep. I like the No maintenance rule.

I used Sunstate Lawn and Land and they did a great job. I live in Santiago on Fortaleza Dr. if you want to take a look.

Mulch doesn't require any more maintenance than stones or rocks.

I don't think your neighbors would be very happy with you if all your plants died, however.

I've had both mulch and stone. Mulch needs to be replaced every so often, stone never does. I agree about the plants though. Probably get in trouble with a bunch of dead plants.
