Default Small piece of solid stone countertop needed

Does anyone know of a place to buy a small (25x22) piece of solid stone countertop without having to buy the whole slab? Can they drill out the hole for the plumbing of a vessel sink?

The drilling and the cutting is the expensive part. Sometimes you can find a bathroom cabinet complete with granite countertop and undermount sink at Lowes or Home Depot for $300-$500. We bought a very nice one for remodeling our small bath up north and it was far cheaper than just buying the granite for the old one. (I think they come from China)

Most granite places (not Lowes or Home Depot but direct sales locations) sell remnants. You should be able to get a slab in the size that you require. Yes, they will drill a hole for plumbing as well as finish the slab in the edging you prefer and install it.

I agree... there are a number of suppliers in Wildwood and I have personally seen racks of left over remnants from other jobs.
