Has anyone had paint protection film professionally installed on their vehicle?
If so, were you pleased with the result?
If it was a local dealer, please provide the contact info.

I am not a big fan. I have one car with this. It just doesn't feel right. Prefer to polish my own car.

Has anyone had paint protection film professionally removed from their vehicle? just had to change your question

We purchased a used diesel-pusher motorhome. The original owner, maybe convinced by the dealer (which often happens) that a clear, plastic 'shield' needed to be applied to the entire front of the vehicle. When we bought the home, the plastic had weathered, cracked, crazed, discolored and looked awful. We factored that into the purchase price, allowing $1000 to remove the film without damaging the paint. There is a firm in Fort Myers FL, Ugly Shield Removal that has the reputation of being the best. They are!

If so, were you pleased with the result?

Yes, I was pleased that the junk was successfully removed.

But if you really want an expert opinion about paint protection film then talk with the owner of that company. Tell him a very satisfied customer recommended his service.

Default Paint Protection

I was going to do this on my Corvette. After talking to a dealer in Floriday, he didn't recommend it due to the heat down here.
