I don''t know anything about the contractor. But, my only advice is do not pay any money in advance. If necessary, make payments based on actual on-site progress. Definitely, do not make a deposit payment before any work has been done.

Contact Seniors Against Crime to see if there have been any reported problems as well as the BBB, then as mentioned in many other threads make dure their license and insurance is up to date. Finally ask them for a list of previous jobs that you can contact for recommendations.

By the way, there is a new golf cart garage addition being constructed on Wotring Way near the entrance to Reagan Villas in the Village Pine Ridge. They just finished the concrete block and are starting the wood framing. You may want to drive by and check it out. So far, it looks like they are doing a nice job.
