Default House Cleaning

My wife went north for 2 weeks to visit friends and family and will return on the 21st. As a matter of self defense I will need to make sure she returns to a clean and orderly house. Any recommendations on a cleaning service I can hire to insure my safety......

Hi. I just tried Molly Maids 2 wks ago.
There is a $50. Off coupon in paper.
I was very happy with their first cleaning.
A little pricey, but very professional, and
They bring ALL the supplies needed. I signed
Up for once a month. Good luck! Connie

Sounds like a good party. Kidding of course. As long as you didn't have to hire Service Master, it's all good!

I don’t know if that is a good idea or not.
Good luck!

I use Right Girl's Cleaning Service. They are fully insured & very trustworthy. I have known Whitney for several years. She does an awesome job, she's super nice and will do whatever you need her to do! (352) 653-8132 Many of my friends use her as well.

I would absolutely love it if my husband volunteered to do some deep cleaning in the house. Having had back issues I just can't get down and do what needs doing. I have hired someone once a month now and it has made such a difference for me. Now the stress is gone, we entertain more because I don't have to spend the day before cleaning. I will never give it up now. Hubby sticks to the outside mowing, trimming and such so he figures the house is mine to do.

You made a classic mistake. Let me explain. By doing the cleaning she normally takes care of, you communicated to her in wife English that you were unsatisfied with the quality of her work. Now, there is a remedy for this. But it will take some effort from you. First; quit cleaning! Second; go back to your fraternity days and start living again. Invite your golf buddies over to watch a game, play poker, or whatever. Order some pizza, pick up some beer, and have a good old time. Now here's the clincher; when the guys leave and the night is over....GO TO BED. Don't pick up or clean up no matter how much you want to. When she gets home, look at her sheepishly, and just say "Honey, I sure missed you; I'm hungry. All will be well, again. And don't beat yourself up. Most of us have made this mistake before.

My usual job is to vacuum and she does everything else as I am not as thorough as she is. She also knows that when she travels I am way less than thorough. Having this done before she returns is a win-win for her and for me. I appreciate all your recommendations and offers and I will be making a couple calls this week. Thank You all.

In "wife language" I for one would be ecstatic that my husband was that thoughtful. The thought would never cross my mind that I was not doing a good job. I say hire a cleaner she will be very appreciative that she does not have to do it on her return.

Default Looking for a cleaning lady

We are moving to the Villages in a few months and would greatly appreciate knowing what we should expect to pay for a good cleaning lady or service.

This is to Connie, who 'recommended' Molly Maids- when you say "pricey", ballpark figure??

I am also looking for a reliable thorough house cleaner. Has anyone heard of or used-
N&K Cleaning Service? And does "Home Advisor" have any credibility?
