Can anyone recommend a reputable auto shop for oil changes and routine maintenance? Thanks!

Tri County Automotive on 441 in front of and just before the plaza with Walmart and Bealls. Nice guy, good mechanic and honest.

My husband has been going to Lady Lake Quality Tire Repair, 216 Highway 466, Lady Lake Phone 352-753-8462. Vaughn (not sure of spelling) is a nice guy, reasonable and from what we've experienced so far does very good work... unfortunately, he's almost impossible to reach by phone. You just need to stop in, tell him what you want done or what problem you're having and he'll make an appointment. If you're coming from Lake Sumter area, you take Morse Blvd and turn right on 466. His shop is about a block before you reach 27/441 on the right hand side. You'll see a bunch of cars in the lot...I don't think you can see his shop from the road driving by with all the trees and cars in front of it. He's just before a hair salon called "Classy Nails and Hair".

Has anyone used Tire Choice? They are building in Colony Plaza.

Default NAPA on 441

I have had great experiences with NAPA auto service on 441. They are honest and the prices are reasonable. They don't try to sell you something you don't need.

We found Goodyear in Lady Lake to be somewhat aggressive in finding unnecessary stuff to fix like cabin filters. We went there to fix a flat tire. We've been using Hutson Auto repair for several years at 3201 US Highway 441/27, in Fruitland Park. We're happy with their service and their charges have been reasonable. Hutson seems to have enough legitimate repair work and has never suggested "stuff" to fix like some others. I believe an oil change at Hutson was about $29. You don't need an appt. for an oil change but they ask that you show up between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. They try to get all the oil change work out of the way early in the morning. We had friends visitng from Miami last week and we stopped by around 3 to replace a headlamp. As you might expect, changing a simple headlamp these days is not as easy as it used to be. Hutson charged $13 for the bulb and $20 for their service. We watched from a distance and it took a mechanic about 20 minutes to remove the headlight assembly to access the bulb. We thought it was money well spent. The owner's name is Kyle and they've been there for more than thirty years.

Default Accu Tech on 301

We are VERY happy with Accu Tech on 301 near 466. They know their stuff and never over charge.

We agree regarding the aggressiveness (think pit-bull) of the Goodyear Tire & Auto center on 441 (next to Home Depot). We went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation on a 2011 Honda that has been maintained meticulously --- came out with an 'estimate' of things they thought were critical---total estimate- $1300. RUN as fast as you can from them.

STAY AWAY from Tire Choice!!!!!!!! They ALWAYS FIND (THEY SAY) minor problems;ie dirty power steering fluid, out of allingment, need to add an additive since your fuel injectors are dirty, ETC.

I second the endorsement for Tri-County Automotive on 441. I've been using them for 12 years, and they are very good and honest. I had to have my car towed there a few times, and they always took care of it expeditiously.

Default Wildwood Auto & Wrecking

Just had Wayne and his guys repair my power steering. Very knowledgable and kept me posted as they sourced the required part. Completed the job in a day and was very pleased with the repair and the more than reasonable price. By the way the Sumter Fire Department has all of their vehicles serviced there. Located on 301 just before the I 75 on ramp.
