Can anyone recommend an affordable plumber to fix a leaking bathtub faucet? It only leaks when the knob is turned on.

I would call Mike Scott Plumbing. You may need a new mixing valve, which is more complicated than a simple leaky faucet repair.

If this is a delta faucet, they tend to have a lifetime warranty. You can get the repair parts free from Delta. In most cases one of the local handyman people can do the repair, I did my own as well as a neighbor after looking at a YouTube video.
