Lightbulb Repair and Services Hobbyist

How do you find old school repair folks or hobby people in the villages that will do antique repair, automotive diagnostics/opinions, old appliance or TV repair/tinkering, bicycles, ammo reloading etc.. Or even minor quick consulting for starting business, taxes, beekeeping, homestead or animal farming, gardening, solar and many other local interest.

Like you, I’d prefer dumping money into the local economy but would just rather support hobbyist and also save money for the MINOR task I am not comfortable with but interested in learning. A lot of established and small businesses have surcharges, travel fee, one hour minimum, 3 week wait etc.

Any direction you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I do most of those things. Frequently, you'll find me here commenting on everything from diy outdoor kitchens to transmissions. Once, I even told tinker how to repair his fridge. I am honored to be hired by one individual as a consultant on things to know before selecting a homesite and what things to build in or add after construction and by whom. It's nice to be thought that highly just by what I write here.
