Question Tree trimmers?

There are many door-to-door tree trimmers who I am quite sure don't have any credentials (insurance, etc.), but does anyone have good experience with any that have coverage and maybe a license to operate? We have this big weed (aka an oak tree) that needs trimming and are in the market for a trimmer. Thanks in advance for your input!

Sorry, but I don't happen to know of anyone, but my advice to you is to only deal with a licensed arborist, not some landscape person who says he know how to trim your tree, but really doesn't. You don't want to see your tree hacked to death!

I see there are a number of threads regarding trees and arborists. Go to the "Search" feature at the top of this site and type in the word "arborist." A number of threads pop up and will probably give you some opinions and information you are seeking.
