Stay away from D&J Discount Landscaping. Owner Deanna Bailey. She advertises in the Daily Sun newspaper. I wanted my yard sod replaced. Deanna came twice to measure. Once to measure to fill in bad spots. The other to completely replace the sod. We agreed on a price and I was told she would start the job on Thursday July 16 and finish on Friday July 17. I asked her for a contract and she said she doesn't give contracts or take deposits. She did say she would give me names of other customers that she had done work for. When the job is finished she gets paid. She impressed me as a nice honest person. Well Thursday came and no one showed up. I called her around five in the evening and she told me she couldn't do the job for the price she quoted me. I asked her why she didn't call me to let me know. She said she thought I was not that interested. Thank god I didn't give her a deposit. If she can't figure a price right I wonder what her work is like. This could have all been avoided if she would have just called me. She made it sound like it was my fault she fiqured it wrong.
