Default From TUB 2 Walk In Shower

Has anyone removed the tub in the guest bath and installed a walk in tile or quartz shower ?

If so, please share recommendations for contractor and was there any problems ? What was the approximate cost ?
Did you use tile? Quartz ? or ???

We used Central Florida Kitchen and Bath for a guest bath renovation in 2015. They were in Baylee Plaza, Summerfield at the time. They removed the tub, and dry wall in one day. They coordinated with Kiley plumbing who did their work on day 2, CF K&B returned on day 3 to finish installing the shower and vanity top and sink. The shower walls are a solid surface (Terrastone) with no grout lines. Floor tile installed privately and Kiley returned to install sink and shower controls. It took 2 weeks for the frameless shower doors. Our bath costs: $8K for CF K&B, $1K for Kiley, $450 for floor tile, $1800 for frameless shower glass. Very satisfied with the entire job, and would use CF K&B again when we do the master bath. Good luck with your project.
