Default Upholstery

Can anyone recommend an upholsterer? I have 8 dining room chairs that need to be reupholstered. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Barb,

I do not sew, but my friend showed me how to do it myself. Pop the chair cushions out and put your new fabric right over the old fabric. Have a staple gun with you and make sure the fabric is taut and evenly pulled as you staple. My friend and I completed the chairs in 1 hour.

You may also want to go to HGTV and look online.

Other wise I can not help with an upholsterer.

Good Luck!

Gary Brodeur, 750-0117, just did some work for us yesterday. Very professional and fast. Also, Jackie's Upholstery recovered an occasional chair my husband had bought used. I took a picture of it to them and they told me how many yards of fabric to buy. Their number is 753-4141. Right now is a good time to buy fabric from Jo-ann's. They are having a 50% off sale on in-stock and special order fabrics.

We had several pieces done through Anchor Design (on 466, near 441/27) for a fair price.
