Default Verizon store on 441 across from Sams

Verizon gave me a "discount" which raised my bill more than $40/month. After 5 phone calls to them and their inability to resolve the problem that they created, I went to the Verizon store on 441 across from Sams, to see if I could get them to help. I had the good fortune to have RON wait on me. Within 10 minutes, he was able to fix my bill and get it back on the plan that I had originally been on before Verizon added their "discount" to my account. Shout out to RON!! ZERO stars for Verizon. 10 stars for RON!!

I understand. I'm giving Xfinity Mobile a shot. Seems good so far. Time will tell.

We purchased a new phone direct from Verizon and when my wife had some problems setting it up they told us to go to the store for help.

Went there last Saturday and first told us they could not help us as their internet was down for over a month.

She told the manager she just needed direction and we already had internet on the phone.

Basically said they could not help us. Found the store to be totally useless.

Switched from Verizon to xfinity over a year ago with no problems. Plus, I am paying $17 a month for two phones and 1 gig of data and xfinity uses Verizon’s network

that's good to know...thanks for sharing

did you have to change phones?

that said, back on topic....I found the Verizon store on 441 to be helpful, but ALWAYS crowded. So we started going to the one on 44 across from Brownwood...1st time was great, next time the staff had turned over and the person we had wasn't helpful at all

like anything else there are some folks that are really good at what they do...and there are some that are always 'just passing through life' adding very little value

My Xfinity Mobile bill is only $13.31 per month, but I use less than 1 gb of data per month. If you want to use data, there are many places that have free wifi in The Villages, like rec centers, restaurants, etc. You don't need to buy a new phone, but you do need Xfinity internet service.

How is the store at helping you when you have a problem with a feature in the phone?

Before we moved here thought Verizon was great now wondering if we should move to Xfinity which is handling phone, internet and cable and doing fine with it.

The store is great and they take reservations online. But, they are currently closed because of the coronavirus.

What I like is that they use the Verizon network for calls. Verizon is the only cell network that I would ever use.
