Default Vinyl Planking Installers

I think I’m a little late to the party but I’m thinking of ripping out carpet in my Patio Villa and replace it with Vinyl Planking. I know many on here have already replaced your carpeting so I was wondering if you could advise me on the company who did it and were you happy with their work. Appreciate all replies!

Bob

I wish I could help you, but I did my own, at the time (a few years ago) most of the installers wanted the room(s) cleared to install the new flooring and, in our case, there was NO room to do this, and the disassembly of the king size bed alone was a major problem. I was able to do the work in 2 weeks, 2 to 4 hours at a time and kept the rooms fully operational the entire time. This was 2 bedrooms, 3 closets, and one hallway.

A couple of years ago, we decided to do the same. I looked at previous threads of TOTV, and found there were 3 companies that were the most recommedned: Roberto's , LA Flooring (in Wildwood), and East Coast Flooring (in Ocala). After checking out Roberto's and LA Flooring, we went with LA Flooring. They had a really large selection in their showroom and they indicated the installers were exclusive to them. We used them and were very happy with the results.

A couple of months ago, we decided to extend the LVP into both guest bedrooms and chose them once again. We are very satisfied with the results and were impressed with how well the installers cleaned up after finishing. The owners of the store have been VERY professional and accommodating.

So #1 vote for LA Flooring. They are in the shopping center in downtown Wildwood.

You mean these companies don’t move furniture and stuff? Man I hope that has changed!

I will clarify my previous comment, the installers would remove the furniture, HOWEVER there was NO place in our house to move the furniture to, and since none of the companies I contacted at the time would move the furniture to one side, do half the floor and then move the furniture to that side to complete the floor, I ended up DIY.

Yes, and they remove baseboards, paint them, and install them after laying the floor. Very professional.
