Default LVP Flooring - LA Flooring on 301 in Wildwood

I used LA Flooring earlier this year and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. David and his team were incredibly professional from start to finish. The service technicians arrived on time each day, worked full days without interruption, and even handled moving the furniture with care. Beyond installing the flooring, they also replaced and painted the molding around the baseboards, which added a clean, finished look to the space. The attention to detail and commitment to quality made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

I preferred LA Flooring over Roberto’s. LA flooring, were more economical, better quality installation.

Yes, we had Roberto's and they removed the baseboards and reinstalled.
And we ALSO used East Coast Flooring... not exactly in Ocala... they may have that mailing address, but they have a nice showroom in the Bellevue/ Santos area. Top in quality, pros, and long term exclusive installers!
Get the good stuff! Don't scrimp, or it will shrink away from the edges.
Best of luck.

Is there any ballpark figures for doing 1500sq ft of house? Like DIY vs. professional? I'm sure it varies a lot but I'm like...are we talking 4 digits or 5 here? Thanks

For a flooring company, $12,000 for material (8 mm thick vinyl planks), labor, removing old flooring, removing baseboards, and moving furniture. For DIY, it would be about half of that and a lot of work.

Materials will run from $2.50-$5.00 per square foot.

Installation from $3.00 - $6.00 per square foot.

You should be under $10.00 per square foot, in total.

I would target $7.00 per square foot.

Variables are whether you remove existing mouldings (don't try to re-install, just replace it).

Size of rooms (waste), moving furniture (ease of installation).

How well you negotiate and the quality of the install and product.

You'll pay be the quantity of materials needed, not necessarily the amount of actual square feet of area. Waste is minimal, so it's not usually a huge deal (unlike carpet or sheet goods).

Don't forget removal of what you currently have on the floor.

My neighbor's recently had their house completely done by Floormasters. It looks great. They're happy.

Get an estimate from Fausnight Flooring in Wildwood. They did our Patio Villa a couple of years ago, and did a terrific job.

As I stated before, I did about 1200 - 1400 square feet of flooring myself, cost was well under $2500. This was Mohawk Luxury Vinyl which is a 100% vinyl product, 100% waterproof, and much quieter that any of the wood flooring or tile floors. Also, since all of the rooms I did had carpet, I did NOT need to remove any molding the new flooring fit under the existing molding and the end result looks like original installed flooring. I was also able to find a competitor's transition that was the same height is the existing tile.
Please feel free to send me a PM if you would like to discuss further over the phone.

FloorMasters did two houses for me. I’m happy with the quality of the work and the prices.

Note that you can save a little money by not removing the baseboards and installing shoe molding to hide the gap between the baseboard and the vinyl plank edge. But, in my opinion, this is NOT the way to go. Pay the extra money and have the baseboards removed, painted, and reinstalled with no shoe molding.
