Default Wall Mount a TV

I need a recommendation on wall mounting a TV. Has anyone heard of Dave & Sons Home Theater Inc. or do you know of anyone else that you would recommend?

Thank you.

All I know is when we had our house built, we wanted 2 wall mounts. They put about 12" of wood behind the drywall to support the T-V's. If they go into studs, then that's OK

I used Tom of TheVillagesAV.com. Very good service, on time, clean, and reasonable.

I do not know how big of a TV you are having mounted, but I have mounted 3 myself. 1 was 55 inch, Lowes and Home depot, as well as HH Greg, etc., all sell wall mounts, and as stated above, as long as you hit the studs you are good to go.
One word of caution, in my house, some of the walls have metal studs, so you need to take care NOT to the conventional plastic wall anchors or to strip the opening in the metal stud by over tightening the screw.
Hope this helps.

Give us a call, I'd be happy to give you a proposal. Nobody wall mounts more flat panels in The Villages than we do.

If you prefer to do it yourself, I'll tell you how to do it safely and securely. Don't worry about metal studs, they will hold whatever TV you throw at them if you use the right hardware to secure the bracket. I personally do chin ups on every mount before hanging a TV to insure the bracket is secure and I weigh 178lbs

Call Villages AV and ask for Tom. Just had two TVs mounted and he does an excellent job and is reasonable and very professional. I would have him back for any AV needs. His number is: 388-1677 or his cell number is: 314-406-0000.
