Are you a person who tends to put principles ahead of other factors? If so, you might be interested in what I saw today. I saw a plumber's work truck parked curbside outside one of the rec centers this afternoon. A fellow came quickly out of the rec center jumped into the truck and parked it in a handicapped parking place. He then jumped out of the truck and walked briskly back into the rec center. No handicap tag, no handicap placard, and the 40ish looking man moved quickly and without any apparent difficulty.

Isherwood was the name on the side of the van.

While it sounds like this gentleman may not have had the right to use the handicapped parking space (NO placard or tag), as far as others using handicapped parking, I'm sure you realize that not all disabilities are visible to the casual observer.

He was indeed naughty. But it could have been worse. I thought this was going to be a "butt-crack" issue.

i know robert from working out with him at laurel manor almost daily. i will ask him what the deal is. i do not think he did this on purpose, just forgot something in the work our room. at least i hope not.

Robert Isherwood is a good and dependable plumber. I hope his business is not tarnished by this "handicap-gate" incident. Sometimes we don't know what is going on in another's head!
