OK so we're moving to TV in 2 weeks and just want TV and Internet service. Any recommendations out there? We'd like to get it set up the day we arrive.

If your moving in the new sections S/O 466A try Bright House, I've heard they're pretty good. Also Fiber to the house over there.

Angry Modem Update

Previously posted about Comcast charging me $7.49 a month for modem rental, even though I own my modem. Just received this months bill, modem rental still on the bill even though their rep told me last month the charge would be removed. To add insult to injury my statement informs me that I would be charged a $9.50 late charge for not completely paying last months bill. Apparently the rep I talked to last month lied about crediting my account. I am done with talking to these people, I filed a complaint with the State of Florida Consumer protection agency and hopefully Comcast will respond to an official state agency inquiry instead of just blowing me off with lies. Also a technician from Comcast visited our home to look at my modem. I showed him the box as well as the receipt where I purchased my modem. He agreed and departed. Still I am being charged a rental fee for my own modem

Thanks for the warning. It will be interesting to see this months bill, since we have owned our modem since 2008. I have been alerted to the fact numerous times that if something happens to me, that very day this household will cancel Comcast. Goodbye HGTV!
