Default Water Heaters

HOT WATER HEATERS
$300 TECO REBATE

If you are soon in need of a new hot water heater:
1. TECO IS GIVING $300 REBATES
2. A 40 GALLON WHIRLPOOL SHORT TANK AT LOWES IS $377 ( in the green and white box)
3. VILLAGERS WILL EXPERTLY INSTALL FOR $200. THEIR NUMBERS ARE 352-552-5802 and 352-630-7648.
4. THEY GIVE YOU THE REBATE FORMS, THE TELEPHONE NUMBER TO CALL TO HAVE YOUR WATER HEATER PICKED UP.
We were so very delighted with the quality of work and with the very very reasonable cost.
Just wanted to pass on our good fortune....

It is a credit on your TECO bill.

Actually it's a check, not a credit on your bill. We just received the rebate check this week for a water heater that was installed in mid-December.

Here's a link to more info from TECO about the rebates.

Is a 40 gallon tank big enough for a home with 2 adults? If so, this should be a savings in not heating up a larger tank.

Default not electric

Teco is the gas company - 40 gallons very adequate for 2 adults or even more, at least IMO

Several water tanks between 40 and 65 gallon qualify for the rebate. The link that I posted above lists all the tanks that qualify for the rebate.

I believe that you can purchase a hot water tank through TECO. Back in VT, we lease a hot water heater through Green Mt. Power at $11.00/mo. The nice thing about that is that they will replace it when needed and dispose of the old one.
