Default Weber Grills

Hi,

Before my question: A BIG THANK YOU to all who have posted here. This is my first post, but I have been reading TOTV for a couple of months and believe I learned a lot. We bought in May.

QUESTION: I am looking for a new grill: preferably a Weber Gas grill. Good size (I think TVers party alot); maybe a Summit level. I checked out the ACE Hardware in SS and the HomeDepot on 441, but selection of Webers is very limited. Ideally, I'd like to buy one assembled and delivered within a few days of purchase. (We're splitting our time between Illinois and TV, and will be in TV for a few weeks starting next week. No furniture yet, except for the Laina stuff we bought last visit). Can anyone help in this quest?

Lowes seems to carry the same Webers as Home Depot.
You might want to check Sears, they carry the biggest Weber selection. If the one you want isn't in the store, you can order it online for store delivery, I think the Summerfield store, on 441, is the closest.

Go talk to or call Barbara at the The Villages ACE on 466. (It's not connected with the SS store.) She's the manager and can be reached at 352-751-6680 They can order and you should get it in a day or two. We ordered all are lanai furniture through her before moving down from Naperville. No problems.

Go Cubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will follow up on them next week when we're in TV.
(Naperville shld not = Cubs, although the Cubbies are surely having their year, and it's mid-August )

Sox - Yes, you can put it on the board that you can grab some bench at the Chicagoland Club meeting next Tuesday (8/26) at the Lake Miona Rec Center if you're here. Send an email to chicagolandclub@aol.com to get details and to be added to the distribution list. I'm heading up to the 'ville that night so we won't be able to get together but "Da Mayer", Connie Rogers, will take care of you.

Too bad you missed the last meeting. It had a Cubs / Sox theme and was great fun.

Not to forget, WELCOME TO THE VILLAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Maybe we can agree on this - Go Bears!

When we built, I neither had nor wanted a gas dryer, so we had our 5th gas connection put out back on our patio. We then purchased a natural gas Weber grill through Home Depot. They assembled the grill and delivered it. We had the gas company actually make the connection. It's absolutely wonderful - no more tanks to deal with. We simply turn the gas on, light the Weber, cook, then turn the gas off. If you're not in one of the newer sections that has been built without natural gas, I promise you'd never regret getting the natural gas Weber!

Default Ace at Southern Trace

Love the staff at Ace (Southern Trace). They assembled our Weber, delivered and were professional. They cannot do enough for their customers.
Thank you Ace for restoring my faith in customer service.
