Would like some recommendations regarding security systems. I guess it's time to install!

Thanks.

I am completely sold on Frontpoint Security. I have it in two homes, including my home in The Villages. Incredible customer service and all wireless.

Also trying to decide. Anyone use simplisafe? I am considering that or Frontpoint. Simplisafe doesn't require a contract. Both are wireless and can be self installed.

I thought I saw something about Brighthouse and alarm systems. Has anyone used Brighthouse? Is it wireless?

Default alarm

security alarms are not really necessary here, however a fire alarm system would make more sense if your home is empty for long periods of time.

I would recommend Frontpoint Security - installation is easy in that it is wireless and monitoring is excellent.

We wish!
I won't go to the mail box anymore without turning on the ADT alarm. How SAD is that?

Thanks.
Any of the major companies are good ... I happen to like ADT. They respond quickly and reliably. They also have a cool iPhone app that let's you monitor the stations remotely as well as turn the system on /off etc.

But, my main advice is ... do not go the el cheapo route or just stick signs out front. Get a solid system that's professionally installed. Think through your technical options and design possibilities as there's several ways to protect your home. You may also want to consider a video system in concert with the alarm.

Anyway, by this time in our lives, we have all pretty much learned you get what you pay for.

Good luck.
