Where'd you come from?

Two 10 inch and one 13 inch. Installed in Jasmine Model in Kitchen, Guest Bathroom, Living Room. Time to install 2.5 hours. Cost of installation priceless because Mrs "F" approved. $1178

F16 Thank You for Posting the pictures and information. What a difference just with a solar tube and you don't let all that heat into your home. Nice picture of Teddy to with the light shinning on his angelic face.

Default Question

How are they at night? Full moon, street lights, etc.? Looks great for daytime and saves on lighting, too, huh?

Full moon doesn't do much. Maybe some glow in the tube - but not enough to keep the lights off at night. During the day they are great - but bulb savings would likely take centuries to cost justify them - but they are "green" I guess. I think they are just plain cool - it's just SO NICE to walk into a once dark room and have it look like the lights are on.
I did the same in my Gardenia as F16 did - 10" in the bath, 10" in the laundry, 13" in the kitchen. We used the Solar Guys at around the same price. Excellent job by them too.

I had 3 put in too. They are great! Windowless bathroom has so much light I keep trying to shut the light off! Solar Guys do a fantastic job!

Default Thank You!!!

Thanks so much F16 of the great pictures of the amazing difference with the solar lights. Wow what a difference!! Nice of you to share your pictures, you have a beautiful home, I am thrilled for you and Mrs. F16 to finally be in paradise!! I love the light, living here in NY I have lots of light and that is so important to me...so I really appreciate you sharing this info. I saved it in my TV File....for "when" not "if" I sell my home and can move to TV!!

There was full moon at one time, that at the time, was directly over head of the solar light in our bathroom. I could read the newspaper, I kid you not.

Default Full Moon. Ghost hunting for Julia about a year ago???

I remember some of you talking about that full moon Handie. But I thought it was the night a bunch of you went out looking for ghosts. Julia? Wasn't that the ghosts name?

I hadn't been there yet and I thought those shenanigans were pretty interesting. Howver, much as I like TV, now that I am a homeowner, I haven't seen or heard of any ghosts.
