Default Who Cleans Your Pool?

Who else cleans pools here other than T&D Pools?
They are not doing a real good job of keeping our pool clean and getting a little tired of calling.
I ask to meet with a supervisor which never calls or come outs to see for themselves. They just send another pool cleaner.
So is T&D the only show in town for keeping pools clean?

I am very happy with him. He had a chance to get $50 extra out of me and didn't take it. He estimated $125 to fix an issue, then after it was done he said it only cost $75. Most wouldn't have done that, especially since I had agreed to pay $125 for the job.

I know that Pinch A Penny has pool service but I don;t use it. Go in and talk to them on 27/441 by the Best Buy. Their pricing appears to be less than T&D what I see on their board. I go there to have my pool tested and ask questions. They are VERY helpful and much better than the T&D service in Colony Plaza AND more accurate. I used both for about 3 months as a comparison every week and always found my readings and PAP were spot on and T&D were off sometimes significantly. I am a DIY person and it is very easy. I have a barracuda pool cleaner that vacuums the floor and walls daily. Not much else to do except go around the tile edge once a week for 5 minutes and scrub the tile surface at waters edge. Also filter cleaning is a snap.
Difference is $0 cleaning + $15-$20 per month chemicals vs. $90-$120 per month with a service. I can use that $100 per month for other things.
If you have questions, I would be happy to help. PM me.

Has anyone tried or still uses the automatic pool cleaner from iRobot?

UPDATE:
T&D Supervisor just came out and agrees the pool was still dirty even though it was just cleaned 1 hour ago.
Could be dirt or algae but either way it is being taken care of.
We travel a lot so doing it ourselves would only work some of the time.
You are right; vacuum and test weekly, clean the filter..not tough just have to be here to keep up with it.

I did use T&D, then switched to Sparkling Waters & Pool Service for about $40 less per month. Plus they ebill me and do auto draft. With T&D I got a paper invoice, had to write a check and use a stamp to mail payment. My pool is just as clean as with T&D and I am pleased with their service. Been using Sparkling Waters for about 6 months now.

I'm calling today. I checked out their website and like the different plans they offer.

We used T&D for a while and they were fine until the tech broke away and started his own business. Then the T&D service went downhill quickly. We went with the tech that went in business for himself about two years ago and the service has been excellent. It is J.Perry Enterprises. Does pool cleaning and power-washing.

It's amazing to hear people complain about their pool. When your contractor sold you a bill a goods and talk you into a salt pool. First off the salt generator proabaly cost 1000.00 second all it does is make chlorine, yes thats right it's chlorine any way you cut it. Now when your generator breaks maybe 8 to 10 years or less you are a stuck. I have chlorine tablets 100.00 will last me about two years. Totally a pasive system. When you get everything set you dont have to worry about it. And If your pool is caged I never have to do anything to mine. Salt generators are not they are crack up to be.

Sparkling Waters Pool & Spa does mine for less than T&D and better job. Also found out are florida licensed for repairs. many others aren't. Found them in service directory of Daily Sun.
