Default Laminate Flooring

Looking to take up carpeting and put down laminate flooring in a Wisteria model throughout living and dining rooms. Any recommendations on who to use. Have a dog so I think laminate is way to go. Thanks.

We used East Coast Flooring to install laminate in our Lantana. They did a great job....floor looks wonderful.

East Coast Flooring is a sponsor on TOTV. They've done a number of homes on my street and all who have used them, are also pleased.

Be careful what you choose with the dog. Unless your fur friend is small they really do scratch the floors. We bought a preowned with beautiful dark, high sheen laminate and the dogs are leaving their marks everywhere. Between the nail marks, drool marks, and hair I could spend my life doing nothing but cleaning the floor! The good news is I have worked through that obsession and work to keep it clean - not perfect. Laminate is a wonderful product, just be sure to get what works for you.

I was concerned about scratch marks as we have a heavy dog and he had ruined our hardwood in our prior home. So far we see nothing on the laminate we installed. He does slide a lot when he gets running and tries to make a turn or stop but as for scratches, nothing. The brand we used was Quick Step which was a more expensive choice but seems not to show scratches and we used East Coast who did a great job.

If you search previous posts on TOTV regarding this question, you will find many responses that will help you to make a decision. I, too, have used East Coast Flooring for a laminate floor upgrade from carpet and would recommend them very highly. Extremely professional, competetively priced and a work team second to none. I believe you would not go wrong by using this company.
