I recently (June 2011) had carpet installed and used Rick Smith based on a friend's recommendation. He did an outstanding job.

Rick has his son and grandson working with him. Rick has done work for The Villages installing carpet in new homes for many years. He has been doing this type of work for around 40 years.

They used a carpeet stretcher, and I am sure I will never need to have it re-stretched as I did purchase carpet with a good backing.

They are efficient and personable. They moved the furniture that was too heavy for me. They were very careful of my electronics cables, and everything was put back the way it was found and worked as perfectly as it did prior to the installation.

Rick comes on the day and time he says he will come. He provides free estimates.

He requires no payment until the job is finished.

I purchased my carpet directly from Dalton, GA. Rick came to my home when it was delivered to unload it as the freight company does not do it.
