Default Window tinting

What is a good company to tint a few windows at my home, reasonably priced?

This has been discussed multiple times in the past. You should be able to do a search and get some information. I do not recall any companies, but I do recall concerns about the tinting voiding the warranty on the windows, you might want to check before you have this installed.

I know for another home I had the 3M professional contractor tinting can be pricy. I ended up doing it myself but it’s a tedious DIY using the Gila brand carried at Lowes. Also, some dark tint can impact the heat load on double pane windows cracking them, etc. Below is one conversation about tinting.

Sorry to say I can't answer your question. If you are trying to reduce the solar heat gain coming through your windows, I have rescreened many customers screens with a solar reducing screen material which works very well. It is a much heavier weave and will be much more noticeable than your existing screen. The product is distributed by CR Laurence and should be available at any local glass shop or screen company.

Looking for privacy on the north windows of my enclosed porch. I don't want to see out or in. No curtains or shades wanted. Figured this would be the best way.
