Isn’t this the ultimate question, besides where did we come from and why are we here. It is 100% inexplicable and probably not for us to understand.

I don’t see death as the problem. It is natural and so many have gone before us and none have come back to complain about it. The uncertainty and fear come from not knowing when or how we will die. It’s the stuff that leads up to our death, and the when, that gets us wound up.
