Rodger…i sent another pm to you not realizing that the original went thru. My first reloader was a Dillon in tge late 1970s. It was one of their first models. It was not as “progressive” as they are today. You still had to manuallt operate some steps. I gave it up and got a Lee single stage. I was more into reloading rifle calibers for accuracy rather than reloading for volume. The cheap Lee worked just fine

Ive been reloading since my early 20s. Ive reloaded many different calibers.
I know of no dedicated group or club that is into reloading. There is a gun club here..the Villages Straight Shooters…im an active member and also the clubs Treasurer. There are a few guys i shoot with that still reload. The problem is that our local range here, shooters world, does not allow reloads. With that said, lots of the reloaders still shoot their own rounds.
I think many here no longer reload because of space constraints and, perhaps time

My advice to you, as a beginning reloader, is read as much as possible, be careful, and always be diligent when reloading.
