Hello thanks for your post. I was told via telephone by sales office the taxes including bond would run around $2500 yearly and home insurance $1000. That's shocking to see you write $11,000 to $13,000 to maintain a empty house. WOW. If this is the case we may as well wait until we retire in 15 months. I don't suspect the homes prices will rise $13,000 yearly. Guess we will know more when we sit down with sales agent and crunch numbers on paper, which I have already done but seems my figures may not be correct.
