Conversation Between B. Johnson and Boudicca

I read that the tank is buried, but our fire place is on an outside wall and I assumed the gas line would simply go through the wall. That's the way its done in VA. ?

we have lived in tV for a little over a year, and were glad to use our electric fireplace during a very cold January. We have tiled floors, and it was COLD. I'd like to convert our attractive electric hearth, to gas (metal liner), but don't have the $$ right now
