Hysterical. "Where's your face covering?" "Where's your face?" It's nice to see some lighthearted humor during this crazy time in our country.

I couldn't get past the Abstract, to wit, Recent epidemiologic, virologic, and modeling reports support the possibility of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission from persons who are presymptomatic (SARS-CoV-2 detected before symptom onset) or asymptomatic (SARS-CoV-2 detected but symptoms never develop). |

mask
Go to any hospital ER and say you don't have to have a mask on an watch there reactions. Take a look at hospitals ICU capacity then you will understand the true facts about the virus. The truth is testing is only one indication of the spread, the other one is hospital are being overwhelmed with new cases. you can play with the numbers either way, but you can't hide the fact that hospital are at 110% and getting higher. Be smart take all precautions you only have one life.

More and more are questioning the true motivations behind the coronavirus hysteria as the data continues to pile up to indicate no such hysteria should ever have been necessary. Yes, the virus exists. Yes, some will get sick. And yes, unfortunately, some have and will die from it much like some have and will die from the flu, food poisoning, allergies, sepsis, tuberculosis, etc.
Asymptomatic people do not for the most part spread the virus meaning that if you are not feeling sick, you do not need to lock yourself in your home. Most masks do not protect one from the virus while only offering minimal prevention in spreading the virus. (Again, if you are not feeling sick the chances of your spreading the coronavirus even if you have it is very low.) As more and more come to realize the above FACTS then more and more will have to face the sad reality that the media/political-generated reaction to the coronavirus pandemic might very well be among the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated. |

There is a giant hole in the point the Anti-Masker OP is trying to make.
The numbers cited are OLD . The guy in the mask says 60,000 dead. And the anti-masker arguing with him cites his information source date as April 2nd. Today is July 3rd. And the total of US deaths is now 128,750. Therefore, the current numbers show a 47% increase in deaths in just 3 months. The OP’s propaganda piece just doesn’t cut it. Maybe look at a calendar. Then do a little math. Think for yourself. Boomer Last edited by Boomer; 07-03-2020 at 07:51 AM. Reason: Typos |

I liked the video. My concern is the analogy to TB. I'll assume the facts on TB presented in the video are accurate. TB is killing about 4000 people per day. COVID-19 is killing about 4500/day. The difference is that TB is treatable and preventable. Also, it hard to make the case that because you didn't wear a mask in the US in 2018 to prevent the spread of TB, you don't need to wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There is very little TB is the US. We are wearing masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 so that our hospitals don't exceed capacity and we can safely open our schools and businesses.

You can argue the pros and cons of wearing a mask.
But you CANNOT argue the social engineering aspect. And that, my friends, it is the true danger. Last edited by Joe C.; 07-03-2020 at 09:09 PM. |

At least the Texas Governor has finally snapped out of it and is telling people to wear masks. Only about 3 months late and thousands of sick people filling up the hospitals. Even Houston, the largest medical center in the world is having to transfer people elsewhere. So much for hysteria.

Just another attempt by the selfish me-firsters to justify their actions, or non-actions. The real science is clear, and if followed, our economy would be humming along again. But thanks to the naysaying me-firsters we are teetering on another crisis and full blown lockdown. Hopefully sanity will eventually rule and masks will become required across the state, and even the country.
