BS
Gabby Petito is all over the news because the news is using it to deflect from Biden and his cronies killing this country.

The cable channels also have become pretty good at blurring the line between "news" and "opinion". Anyone who thinks Rachel Maddow or Tucker Carlson are anything besides opinion/entertainment has taken the bait. Another example - any channel that is paying more than a passing mention to the current non-story of the missing girlfriend/hiding boyfriend is not worth watching. If you don't know what I am talking about, good for you! |

Gabby&Brian Case
I was wondering the same thing ...homosexuality? How does that tie-in?
Both Gabby&Brian were in Moab, (UT) and were seen in the Moonflower Community Grocery (Moab) grocery a few days before the time the newly married lesbian couple were murdered. Other than that, I am not aware of any coincidence or relevance between them and the two women who were murdered a few day’s later. ...did I miss something? |

If you will do a bit of research and talk to criminal investigators you will find that in the vast majority of cases involving a couple, significant other or spouse, where one is missing or dead the spouse/significant other is the perpetrator of the crime. Follow the science and in this case criminal science.

I am an armchair detective and leap to connections. I am not dissing anyone here. Just wondering if this guy had strong views that I do not share. I am not a homophobe. I am an openminded person that ****es off both sides of any issue. I read this and wondered what his mindset was/is that is all. GOOD GREIF. It is o.k. to talk about subjects that are difficult. REPORT: Utah investigators speak on double homicide near missing Gabby Petito incident |
It seams like I’ve heard this before on another subject

well, dude, it is just an unbiased opinion. it is true, and not the race card.

follow this: the cable news people get paid to say, what they are told to say. I don't think Scarborough is stupid, and actually believes what he is saying, but for 12 million a year he will do as told, so won't his not so bright sidekick....... the hated creeps on the view? they are not dumb either, but they also get paid to say that nonsense and make people mad....those fake tears from plump Maegan mccain? fake, she gets big money do that. they sit there and read of a script with their heads down.

I can talk about suicide, mental health, homosexuality, infidelity, drug addiction etc. I am not allowed to discuss politics on this forum. YOU are not the boss of ME. and I am not the boss of YOU. In our house we have always discussed difficult subjects...that is considered the basis for good mental health. |
WHY, oh, WHY is this getting media coverage it has been getting? Granted, it's kind of interesting - cross country road trip, one person returns, one person disappears - but really! The same thing & variations of the same thing, happens to lots of other people in the US every day. Our media is turning into True Crime/ NYPost/ etc etc. I am not an inquiring mind.

This young woman is from Florida. Actually they both are from the NYC area and went to high school together. I wonder how they make their living. She told police she has a degree in Nutrition. The van is registered to her. I am guessing as to WHY it is getting media coverage is that TRUE CRIME is a very popular subject and the media gets paid for people reading their stuff. THAT is the reason they have headlines that make you WANT to see what this or that is all about. WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN? |
Again it is true about talking about suicide and homosexuality can be helpful but homosexuality and the disappearance of a woman and suicide and the death of a person seem to me agenda driven

Human interest and mysterious crime stories - SELL. I'm pretty sure a lot of those who decry the publicity this particular story is getting, were riveted by one or more of the Charles Manson/O.J. Simpson/Lacy Peterson/Amanda Knox/Etc..Etc. stories. What makes this one tough, is that there isn't a body yet to prove a crime and since prosecutors usually only get one bite at the apple, it can be frustrating if the 'person of interest' can't be found - or won't talk.

Do you think Brian, her fiance knows where she is? WHAT do you think happened? I think, but have nothing concrete at all to go on that she will be found dead and he killed her. I wonder what the final argument was about. |
angry with a bunch of strangers I think not . I’m 82 lived much of my life outside USA and truly believe that race, religion or sexual preference have no bearing on how I look at a person and I’m the happiest 82 year old you’ll ever know , this site is just fun even more so when it hits home with someone, we’ll I’m off to gym and later chop house tonight

Police reports, social media provide timeline of Gabby Petito'''s disappearance after road trip with fiance
Who knows what happened here? No body right now except Gabby Petito. I hope the facts turn in her favor and not against her fate. |

Civility, Kindness, Curiosity Anyone?
Whatever happened to civility?
Whatever happened to kindness? What's wrong with curiosity? Wow, I'm a bit surprised by the name-calling and insults being hurled here. I also, like Graciegirl, have a curious mind and find true crime stories, although very sad, fascinating - mostly learning about the forensic science that is used to solve the crimes. I am an Investigation Discovery frequent viewer for that reason, and I also note connections based on statistically relevant details. Insulting people because they find it interesting enough to be curious about it and/or ponder about it and want to hear others' thoughts is VERY rude. WHY? To Graciegirl: Yes, I think there is likely foul play. In today's world, if Gabby was okay, she would surely be posting on social media and/or talking/texting to her family. The fiancé is certainly contributing to the speculation that he has something nefarious to conceal by hiding (his family's assertion). I try to put myself in others' positions: If she were my daughter, I would surely want as much press as possible to find her, and I would not take kindly to folks posting sharp jabs/insults about it being nothing of interest. If I were the fiancé, I would surely be telling police (if innocent of foul play) where and why we separated and would want as much press as possible to find her. If I were a policeman on the case, I would want to look at any surrounding circumstances from their trip. Detectives can get tunnel vision if they make premature assumptions and don't investigate ALL possible circumstances (like a homicide that happened nearby). Insult me, too, if you must, but seriously? I just have an active mind, a big imagination, and have watched hundreds of true-life (mostly solved) crimes and wonder how this one will turn out. |

I wonder how each of them support themselves traveling across country. They have gas and food and that isn't free. The van was in her name. Where is it now?
I wonder if both of them are as unstable as they look to me, as I read these articles. I wonder if they will find Brian Laundrie alive or if he committed suicide? |
