Civility, Kindness, Curiosity Anyone?

Whatever happened to civility?
Whatever happened to kindness?
What's wrong with curiosity?

Wow, I'm a bit surprised by the name-calling and insults being hurled here.

I also, like Graciegirl, have a curious mind and find true crime stories, although very sad, fascinating - mostly learning about the forensic science that is used to solve the crimes. I am an Investigation Discovery frequent viewer for that reason, and I also note connections based on statistically relevant details.

Insulting people because they find it interesting enough to be curious about it and/or ponder about it and want to hear others' thoughts is VERY rude. WHY?

To Graciegirl: Yes, I think there is likely foul play. In today's world, if Gabby was okay, she would surely be posting on social media and/or talking/texting to her family.
The fiancé is certainly contributing to the speculation that he has something nefarious to conceal by hiding (his family's assertion).

I try to put myself in others' positions:
If she were my daughter, I would surely want as much press as possible to find her, and I would not take kindly to folks posting sharp jabs/insults about it being nothing of interest.

If I were the fiancé, I would surely be telling police (if innocent of foul play) where and why we separated and would want as much press as possible to find her.

If I were a policeman on the case, I would want to look at any surrounding circumstances from their trip. Detectives can get tunnel vision if they make premature assumptions and don't investigate ALL possible circumstances (like a homicide that happened nearby).

Insult me, too, if you must, but seriously? I just have an active mind, a big imagination, and have watched hundreds of true-life (mostly solved) crimes and wonder how this one will turn out.

I never knew about the "Zone of Death" in Idaho where it is legally possible to commit murder and not be prosecuted. Pretty bizarre.

"Bizarre" indeed.

I wonder how each of them support themselves traveling across country. They have gas and food and that isn't free. The van was in her name. Where is it now?

I wonder if both of them are as unstable as they look to me, as I read these articles.

I wonder if they will find Brian Laundrie alive or if he committed suicide?

Don't you wonder what their high school classmates have to say about them both?

Don't you wonder about their philosophy on other things?

A friend messaged me whose husband was a homicide detective for many years and she said he thinks that the people looking for him have a lot of information not known to the public.

There are many people who save up for trips like this especially for many young people and it has been life changing experience for all that take this journey. I see nothing in those pictures that would make them look out of the ordinary, I myself if you saw me without my shirt have 10 tats , maybe you would judge me which I’m sure some people would especially in villages but dressed my clothes are all Armani and Hugo Boss and I’ve never gone out at night even when I lived in Miami Beach in shorts just slacks or jeans and no flip flops or sneakers, but I guess some here are more skilled then I when they look at those pictures , after all they know more about it because they watch an awful lot of ID and true crime shows

They were youtube bloggers. For some inane reason, you can earn money doing that...

Many have become millionaires doing that... There is a little Japanese boy who has made over $11 MILLION playing with toys on youtube...

Yes, the van was in her name. Apparently, Laundrie drove the van back to Florida. It's been searched by the police...

You would be wrong to think that my long history from the first parachute battalion of French Foreign Legion to my long life in other conflicts makes me a good guy, many of my best compatriots were not nice guys

Body found where Gabby Petito search is underway in Wyoming, no confirmation of identity

Malsua 09-19-2021 05:00 PM

So a body was found in the area where the police were looking for this girl.

Body discovered amid Gabby Petito search in Wyoming national park

There is a report that about 10 minutes after the discovery, search dogs were loaded up and driven off, as if they weren't needed any longer.

I'm going to guess that numbnutz will be found swinging in a tree in the park he's hiding in.
