Default Gas prices are going up!!!!

Filled up at BJ's two weeks ago and gas was $2.94 a gallon. Filled up today and it was $3.43 a gallon!

That is a 16% increase in two weeks.

However, food and energy is not included in "core inflation."

Just another example of supply and demand. Use diesel in our motorhome and it is over $4.50 in NY and PA.

Over the past six weeks the price of oil has risen 17%, and analysts attributed it to two main factors: cuts in production from Russia and OPEC, and the record-breaking heat that has been scorching half the globe over that time.

Suck it up buttercup.

It is the annual summertime, high travel season screwing of the consumer.

Nothing new.

We do export oil. Around 1/3 of the oil refined in our Gulf Coast refineries are exported.

Prices are up because the oil companies know we'll pay it. If you don't want to pay so much for gas, stop driving your car and gas powered golf cart, until the prices drop again. When they do drop, they'll likely still be higher than they were at the last drop. That is what oil companies do, and they have to satisfy their stock holders, who are very happy right now.

Buy an EV and fill up at home for 5 or 6 bucks. Never worry about gas prices again.

Russia revenge. Main Stream media did not report the deal with Russia and the Saudis, they control the petroleum, now that we shut down our own. Look for higher prices to come.

Gas spiked in January 2021 when energy independence disappeared and we have learned to live where we rely on others for fuel paying the price because we need it. Just saying.

You’ve left out the fact that we are no longer energy independent and a lot of drilling has been stopped in our country.
