The jury was not going to convict him even if there was a video of him butchering those two people.

How in the world did the prosecution team not put in some effort to vet the jury?

It was in downtown LA so getting an unbiased jury was not going to be easy. Also after the Rodney King riots, the DA office was probably worried about negative publicity if the jury chosen did not reflect the racial makeup of the area. Remember the Rodney King trial had ten whites and no blacks.

But having only a couple of whites and almost all blacks was a huge mistake. Did not reflect the racial makeup of LA at all.

You are right.

The Downtown courthouse draws the majority of its jurors from the Central District, an area with a jury pool that is about 30% white, 31% black and 29% Latino. The boundaries of the Central District are the Ventura Freeway in Glendale to the north, Manchester Avenue to the South, La Cienega to the west and the outskirts of Montebello to the east.

But the prosecutors lacked the fortitude to make more challenges or they were over confident about the case.

And I believe with Mark Fuhrman as a key witness and the Rodney King death trial, the prosecution case was doomed with 9 blacks on the jury regardless of the evidence.
Rodney King "death trial"???

He died by drowning 20 years later...

It seems he died with a $3M net worth.
Shows how our judicial system has gone to the dogs. OJ Jury people admitting that they voted not guilty for pay back for Rodney King.

Jurors who were going to let the vile murderer OJ off the hook no matter the facts should have been disqualified during voir dire. The trial was a disgraceful disgusting fiasco.
