The other point being missed is hearing from the blacks who are in fact satisfied with their lot in life. Whatever you measure with that concludes "...purposeful naivete and outright lies..." it is not appropriate commentary for my post. Yes you are entitled to your opinion.....however wrong it may be. Like the rest of us your responses are a reflection of personal optics. And isn't it great we are not all alike. |

Interesting that many of you ASSUME that this is a racist incident. Just because the cop was white does not mean that the whole incident was based on race. Funny how many wish, need, MUST make this about race. When is the last time you heard it called a racial act when a black COP killed a white man? Why? Is it because no one looks at it that way? Are you going to tell me that black COPs are not racists? I've known a whole lot of COPs in my life and have seen very few bad COPs. Yes, I have seen some that seemed to get into more altercations than others. I have seen some handle domestic disputes very badly, but I have never seen any of them do so with nefarious intent. If someone is drunk and runs over a black child riding a bicycle, it does not make him or her a racist, as much as some would like to. I think that many just wish to explain many unfortunate incidents by labeling them racially biased. I am not say that this incident is or not related to bias or race. I am just saying that many start rioting and demonstrating, with the theme being racism, not based on the real intent or lack of. Call it what you will, but at least be honest about it. My understanding is that the COP in question knew Floyd. There was a personal connection there somewhere. Maybe (or maybe not) some wish to make this racial when it is really something else. Just because a bad COP kills a black man or woman, does not necessarily mean it was based on skin color.
Kind of like, just because a person tests positive for COVID-19 and dies of a heart attack or alcohol poisoning, does not mean that COVID-19 was the cause of the death. And if you want to ask me what the virus has to do with this, and can't figure it out, maybe you should not admit it in public. |

Did the COPs say something that indicated that this was racially motivated? I haven't heard that part yet. Or, do you just assume that since the man was black and a COP killed him, he had to be a racist? Seems to me that the other COPs were not all white, or am I mistaken?

Because until you do, it could easily be taken as "they know they're constantly discriminated against...but have just accepted it." |

Arbitrary "...until you do..." qualifier does not change the status of the original intent! Pretty basic actually.....we all know non white individuals or families that are and have been content with their state of progress in life and accomplishment. |

One needs only look to youtube, and look for home invasions caught on camera. They are some of the most violent crimes imaginable. Everyone needs to watch them.

IF THEY ARE BREAKING INTO YOUR HOME. Unfortunately lots of statements do not get fully reported and lead you to the wrong conclusion.

The cops started the looting problem? Where did you learn about logical thought and reason?
